Kahnawake is a Haudenosaunee, a.k.a. as Iroquois indians, from the Onondaga tribe. She's got a female bald eagle with her. (which kinda looks like a fat turkey.)
I really like her, her body paint and the red mohawk. She's tough.

This one is my least fav. I don't like the girl, but I'm quite pleased with the tiger (tigers, for the records, are a BITCH to draw, with all those stripes and all that..).

I like the girl with the polar bear. She's got a massive club, red jewellery and blue hair, how much cooler can you possibly get? And I absolutely love the bear. Polar Bear are my fav bears, hands down.
She's fierce and fearless, but also kinda funny..Sort of like a female Peter Pan, with more fighting skillz and murderous instinct than he ever did..That's, I guess, why her buddy is a polar bear and not a blonde fairy.
Plus, this is just a bear. This is not His Dark materials or Lost, the bear doesn't talk, doesn't live on a tropical island, it's not humongous, it isn't magic, it doesn't have special powers and he doesn't wear any armour. It's just a bear. He, I should say.
I'd love to give Nuri a life of her own. And the bear, too. ;)
I had to add some lines and bubbles over the two figures, to make clear they're SWIMMING and not FLYING. I mean, there's nothing wrong with a flying bear..but they are swimming.

I started this new series of girls and animals, using my new Faber-Castell watercolors.
I going kinda random at the moment, no particular order or reason behind each drawing.
This is the Bird of Paradise, with some kind of Lady of the Lotus. Shui Lian means lotus in chinese, so I guess we can call her that. No need to name the bird.

A young archangel Michael, before the dragon, Satan and all that shit.
His name means 'who is like God' (El), and it was said to have been the war-cry of the angels who fought Satan.
He's mentioned it the Tanakh (the hebrew Bible), the Talmud and the Qur'an, he's the future commander of the Army of God, the good Angel of Death (as opposed to his nemesis the evil Angel of Death, Samael), the protector of Israel and later on the patron saint of warriors, the caron of souls, the viceroy of heaven after the fall of Lucifer, the angel that sits on the right of God, that saved Lot at Sodom, that gave Moses his tables and wrestled with Jacob, the angel of mercy and justice..
For now he seems nothing more than a vain cocky scoundrel.
Angels don't accept human's worship, as they are not divine, but this one would seem to accept it alright..
He was probably a handful to manage, with his gang of friends (Raphael, Gabriel, Phanuel, Uriel, Zagzagel, Suriel and Lucifer), getting in trouble to piss off Samael..XD
